Magic Bag products are carefully designed, filled and many produced in Montreal, Canada to provide the most comforting pain relief possible in a natural and eco-conscious way. We fill our compresses with organic grains that do not contain preservatives nor pesticides, which ensures safe contact with the skin when heated. The natural state of these grains means that they do not last forever.

Here is how to make the best from the life span of your Magic Bag:

ATTENTION: Avoid over-heating and the risk of fire!

  • Heating the Magic Bag in 30-second intervals and keeping it in sight is of utmost importance. Do not heat the Magic Bag for 1-2 minutes straight. Heating for over 30 seconds at a time can cause hot spots and CONTENTS CAN CATCH FIRE
  • Always heat your Magic Bag in a clean microwave. Oil stains on the fabric and food residue will increase the risk of fire. In doubt, place on a clean plate while heating.
  • Read the Tyvek label attached to your Magic Bag. Here you will find the complete instructions for your chosen model.

    • Cold therapy

    Place in a plastic bag inside your freezer for at least 4 hours before use

    Warm therapy

    Place in your microwave for 30- second intervals (max 2 mins) until desired temperature

    • An eco-conscious product. By getting a Magic Bag you avoid alternatives that are produced with plastics or electronics. High-five on supporting our green initiative!
    • 100% Organic Grains = 2 years of natural pain relief. After heating your Magic Bag 100 times (or after 2 years of its purchase date), the grains in the bag begin to lose their ability to retain heat and thus their pain relief property is diminished. This is normal with natural products.
    • Use your Magic Bag as a cold compress only or compost your Magic Bag. After approximately 100 uses, or around two years, the grains may no longer provide the same level of moist heat, reducing the bag’s overall heating capability. At that point, we suggest repurposing your Magic Bag as a cold compress by storing it in the freezer—perfect for soothing relief from headaches or aches. For continued heat therapy, we recommend replacing it with a new Magic Bag. If you prefer not to use it for cooling, you can open the bag, compost the grains, and give it an eco-friendly afterlife.
